West Virginia Attorney General's Office to host January public meetings in metro area

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) - To kick off the new year, the West Virginia Attorney General's mobile office will be making stops around the Metro Valley to talk to area residents.

According to the WVAG's office, the goal of these stops is to discuss consumer-related issues and give the public an opportunity to have any potential questions answered. Susan Azevedo, a consumer outreach and compliance specialist with the WVAG's office, will be hosting the meetings.

When the meetings begin, current Attorney General and Governor-Elect Patrick Morrisey will still be in office. On Jan. 13, Morrisey will be inaugurated as West Virginia's governor and AG-Elect JB McCuskey will also be sworn in to take over the attorney general's role.
