The doors are officially open at one of the most unique places to eat in New Paltz, New York.
One of the Hudson Valley's most popular villages to visit for a great meal is now home to something new! New Paltz is now home to a brand new dining establishment and to say we are excited about it is a bit of an understatement.
Back in June, we told you that the folks who own and operate a few of the area's most successful bars and restaurants had started construction on a new restaurant in the heart of New Paltz. Brian Keenan and Craig Gioia who've been doing business all across the Hudson Valley for 30+ years at restaurants including Darby O'Gills, Novella's, and McGillicuddy's announced that they would be opening Sideshow Kitchen & Bar in New Paltz as soon as construction was completed.
That was back in June, fast forward to the new year, and BOOM! They are open!
According to the Sideshow Facebook page, New Paltz's newest restaurant has officially opened its doors at 5 Plattekill Ave, New Paltz (behind McGillicuddy's), and is offering guests the chance to enjoy a meal in a unique casual dining space that includes exposed steel beams and floor-to-ceiling garage doors that open to a dog-friendly patio. As you can see below they will offer plenty of seating and a fire pit.
Sideshow's menu is full of BBQ classic dinners like chopped brisket, chicken & waffles, and the Carolina fried chicken sandwich to name a few. They will feature starters like the Sideshow rib rolls, Texas-loaded chili, salads, and much more. The menu is full of unique twists on carnival foods and drinks including their signature cocktails like the Cotton Candy Cosmo, Popcorn Crunch, and the Ferris Wheel Fizz. Sideshow also offers a big selection of beer and wine. You can see their full menu online here.
Sideshow is now open daily serving lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. and will stay open on Fridays and Saturdays until 2 a.m.
